Papermill

Sorry, no close up this time. It's becoming increasingly more difficult to get a close up of George as he becomes more mobile and active, and also because of the limits of a digital camera. So here we took advantage of him being strapped in on a Sunday walk. This time it was through a wooded valley stream walk with a 300+ year old paper mill. George is really getting into the Sunday walk thing, especially because it can include peanut butter and mashed banana sandwiches! Mmmm...

More and more trouble

George loves the presents from his aunts and uncles - in more ways than one!

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday, George! He's had one year without such blatant sugar - but on his special day he was sullied with a cupcake/fairy cake with icing/frosting. He was a little unsure at first, but not for long...

He also has had fun with balloons recently - trying to catch hold of one, boxing with a helium filled one, and then modelling static electricity. That's what life is about!

Standing

First he pulled himself to standing, now he's standing on his own. One of us (DH) is very excited for George to start walking, the other of us (me) is a bit more wary of the trouble it will bring!
