Boxing Day

George enjoyed several new toys these past few days, including among other things, a new puzzle (which he enjoyed chewing on and banging). But he also enjoyed his old formula tin, which he and his daddy use for drumming.
A few more days with the other side of the family still to come yet. It's a good thing Christmas comes only once a year!

Christmas Stocking

George seemed to enjoy his first Christmas. He opened some of his presents (the worse wrapped ones) and, contrary to common dogma about Christmas at his age, was much more interested in the contents than the paper(!) But between mealtimes, naptimes, diaper changes, the 30+ minutes it took to get him to unwrap one present, he hasn't managed to finish opening his presents yet. So here is a picture of him taking out his first present, a soft dog, from his Christmas stocking.

Some everyday activities

What does George do all day? Here's just a sampling of some of his goings on while at home...

Mmmm

He's been eating finger foods for months, but this breakfast marks his first meal feeding himself with a spoon! Stodgy Weetabix helped, as well as his mummy recharging the spoon in between mouthfuls.

Cold weather has its advantages.

This footmuff, or cosytoes, is made for the pushchair/stroller during inclement weather. Lined in fleece and with a wind- and waterresistant top, it's like a sleeping bag for the little 'un. I wouldn't mind one myself!
