... a career in flying.

Ahh...this is the life

"Now would you move your hand a little to the left? The sun is getting in my eyes... That's it. Zzzzz..."

Tea break in the car after a visit to the Batsford Arboretum to look at blooming cherry blossoms.

George's new 'trick' this week is thumb sucking! He's reserving judgement on his door bouncer chair, and learning how to convey his thoughts better with variations of a cry...

Something's fishy...

Visiting the Aquarium at Seacombe on the Wirral Peninsula, George was captivated by the fish. Maybe he'll become a marine biologist? Or an angler??

Constitutional

George checks himself on his way out for his pseudo-daily constitutional.

Baby dude

Here's George with his wagging tongue rocking out on the Fisher-Price piano. He prefers to play first thing in the morning when he's most awake (and the neighbors probably aren't...yet!)

Sleeping Bags

One of my favorite things is George's sleeping bag (called sleeping sacks in the US). It is a thick quilted material bag that the baby wears in place of having blankets and sheets. There's a zipper on the side of the bag and snaps over the shoulders. Keeps them warm but reduces the risk of smothering from loose covers. They also can't kick them off. Great for middle-of-the-night feeds and diaper changes! Unfortunately, we still have middle of the night feeds, but fortunately the diaper changes can wait until morning.
As there is no sound, I should explain that George is yawning in this picture...not pitching a fit!
