I have never heard "onesie" anywhere, from anyone. What on earth does it mean?

A onesie is a neck-to-toe bodysuit-type outfit that either zippers or snaps (aka poppers) up the front. Maybe you don't need them in a warm sunny climate like yours??

I'm quite sure G has seen onesies recently. So, what else would you call them, sir, perhaps "infant jumpsuits"? But infants don't jump. Hmm.
